Gunman kills 8 at Seal Beach salon

Eight people were killed and one was in critical condition in a shooting blindly at a beauty salon in Seal Beach, Los Angeles, United States, Wednesday (10/12/2011) afternoon.

The shooting happened at about 13:30 local time at the Salon Meritage, about 48 milesfrom downtown Los Angeles.

The perpetrator opened fire in the middle of the salon was full of visitors. According to police, the perpetrator acted alone, and managed to catch not far from the salon.

Eyewitnesses said the perpetrators are targeting ex-wife and two others involved incustody disputes. However, police are still investigating the motive for the attack.

The perpetrator is described as being a "big man with a bearded face" and possiblywearing bulletproof, as reported by FoxNews.
