Microsoft Wins Patent Against Motorola

The device-based operating system Andorid, seems to keep gettinga patent dispute related resistance. Now turn to the Motorola Mobility Android devices that have otherwise been violated Microsoft patents.

ITC decided, Motorola Mobility has violated Microsoft's patents covering the use ofmobile phones and meeting scheduling tools on Android devices Motorola Mobility.

Reported by The Inquirer, Thursday (12/22/2011), this is an initial decision and onlyone of the many accusations are 'thrown' by Microsoft in August last year.

"We have a responsibility to employees, customers, partners and shareholders toprotect our intellectual property," said David Howard, Microsoft corporate VP and Deputy General Counsel for litigation at the time.

He added, "Motorola violating our patents and we are confident that the ITC will support us."

Like HTC, which was decided had violated Apple's patents, Motorla Mobility welcomed because only breaking 'bit' of the patent on the claim.

"We are very pleased, that the majority of decisions that benefit the Motorola Mobility," said Scot Offer, SVP and General Counsel Motoroly Mobility dadam a statement.

"This initial Penetuan can provide clarity the definition of Microsoft's 566, the offensehas ditemukn. It will also help us avoid patent infringement in the United States(U.S.)," he said.
